How does a wash dry fold service work?

  1. Create a new account
    Tell us where we should pick up and deliver your laundry. Indicate whether you want to be present when we pickup and drop off your laundry. Also include any preferences for processing your laundry such as whether we should use scented or unscented products.
  2. Schedule a pickup
    Fill out our form to schedule a pickup or you can call/text us to schedule a date and time to plan your laundry day.

  3. Gather your dirty laundry
    Place your dirty laundry into 13gallon kitchen bags for pickup. You may also use cloth laundry bags if you have them.
  4. Laundry is picked up
    Place your laundry at prearranged pickup spot (such as on your porch or by a garage door) or plan to meet us when we arrive. We pick up your laundry and bring it to Big Loads to be processed.
  5. Payment
    Big Loads has certified scales to accurately weigh your laundry and determine the cost of your order. We will charge a credit card on file or send you an invoice via text/email.
  6. Laundry is processed
    Your laundry will be washed and dried according to your preferences. We fold and package your laundry in clean plastic bags to be returned.
  7. Laundry is delivered
    Clean laundry will be returned to your home and carefully placed in the same location it was picked up.

How will you process my laundry?

Separate from other customers

Your laundry will always be washed separate from other customers. We tag each bag of laundry as it is picked up and track the order to ensure it does not get mixed up with other orders. When processing clothes, we inspect the washer/dryer before and after laundering your items.

Using commercial grade products

PowerPax is a commercial grade detergent for ensuring your clothes come out clean and fresh every time. It is available in scented or unscented depending on your preferences. Unless indicated otherwise, we will use detergent/softener/stain remover for everyday items such as clothing and bedding and will use detergent only for towels. At no additional cost, we can add laundry boosters such as vinegar, odoban, or enzymes if you have any strong odors you’d like us to tackle. If you prefer, we also have Tide, Downy, and Bounce available or you can send us your preferred products when we pick up your laundry.

Sorting laundry

If you prefer your laundry to be sorted for washing, please place them in different bags for pickup. If you have not sorted them, we will do our best to sort clothes, but cannot guarantee color fastness. We may also use a color catcher sheet at our discretion.

What is the difference between Wash Dry Fold and Wash Dry Go?

With Wash Dry Fold we wash and dry your laundry according to your preference. We then fold your laundry, stack them neatly into clear plastic bags, and return them to you.

If you prefer to fold your clothes a certain way or you are looking to save some money, we can skip the folding and return your clothes with our wash-dry-go service. We will stack your shirts, stack your pants, and gather your undergarments to be packaged in a plastic bag to be returned to you unfolded.

We do not do stain removal

Our standard detergent includes a stain removal booster (similar to oxiclean) but we will not pretreat or attempt to remove individual stains.

Delivery

We are currently offering free delivery within five miles of Big Loads located at 1720 14th Street, Two Rivers. We have a delivery charge for distances greater than five miles and do not travel farther than 15 miles at this time. If you have neighbors scheduling the same pickup/delivery dates we can divide delivery fees between multiple orders.

We do not enter homes for the safety of our staff and security of your home. You may meet us at the door or leave laundry outside at a pre-arranged location such as your front porch or by a garage door.

How fast is laundry returned?

We offer 2 service speeds: Standard or Expedited.

Standard service has less than 48 hour turnaround. This means if we pick up your laundry Monday morning it will be returned sometime on Tuesday, but no later than Wednesday morning.

Expedited service has less than 24 hour turnaround and is subject to availability. This means if we pick up your laundry Monday morning it will generally be returned Monday evening.

Loss or Damage

We take every effort to properly care for your clothes. Please check your pockets and laundry bag for valuables such as money, jewelry, electronics, etc. and other items that may damage our machines such as tools, screws, etc. We do our best to check your laundry before processing it, but we are not responsible for loss of these items or any damages caused by them. We are also not liable for weak for fragile fabrics that tear during the standard cleaning process, fastness of colors, or shrinkage. Please ensure the laundry you send to us is able to be washed and dried by checking each item’s care tag. Do not send any items of great value including those with sentimental value. Any loss or damages reported within 48 hours of receiving the finished product will be investigated and compensation shall not exceed three times the cost of the order.

Are you insured?

Yes, our laundromat, laundry service, and delivery vehicle is fully insured with a commercial insurance policy.

Our scales are also certified and inspected annually to ensure accurate pricing.
